About the Role

CurveFore is looking for experienced SQL Developers with skills in development of data warehouses and implementation of business intelligence (BI) tools.

We offer flexibility to team members to work from a place of their choice. Since it is a remote work-based opportunity, you should have proper infrastructure at your place of work.

This is a remote position for self-driven and quick learners. The candidate should have the ability to pivot as the business situation demands. The role is of an individual contributor (IC). The candidate will have to collaborate across functions and teams within CurveFore and with customers and contribute to the team or a part of the project.

Designation: Software Engineer or Sr Software Engineer as per profile


Roles and Responsibilities:


  1. Ability to understand and document the business analytics and reporting requirements from various stakeholders.

  2. Analyze, understand, and document the source of data.

  3. Define the project plan and break it down into tasks and sub-tasks.

  4. Design the data models to meet the immediate and future business requirements.

  5. Develop the data marts/data warehouses.

  6. Design wireframes of dashboards and reports.

  7. Develop dashboards and reports using business intelligence (BI) tools.

  8. Delivery on-time.


Qualifications:


  1. Engineering or BCA degree with a strong academic background.

  2. 3 to 5 yrs hands on experience in T SQL/PL SQL.

  3. Strong verbal and written English communication skills.


Must-Have Skills:


  1. Strong SQL development skills.

  2. Proficient in writing complex queries, procedures, views, Indexes, CTE in SQL.

  3. Experience in use of ETL tools.

  4. Experience in data modeling and development of data warehouses on multiple data integration platforms like (SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server, SQL Azure, Talend, SAP HANA, CDS views on HANA, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP BW/HANA, Talend, Pentaho, AWS database platforms).

  5. Expertise in designing intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards.

  6. Experience in Business Intelligence tools and platforms like (Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Qlikview, SAP BI Platforms, Crystal Reports, WEBI).

  7. Experience in performance monitoring, fine-tuning and optimization of database queries, reports, and dashboards.


Good to have skills:


  1. Understanding of PowerShell and REST APIs.

  2. Understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

  3. Understanding of JSON, and XML.

  4. Managing Embed Codes and understanding of Embedding concepts.

  5. Able to write dynamic SQL.

  6. Understanding of SQL Server query plan analysis.

  7. Understanding of scrum and agile implementation methodologies.
